In May 2025, the Nursing Conception Initiative (NCI), in partnership with Nursing with Light, released a powerful and eye-opening movie titled “Unmasked.” Following the success of previous projects, Alabeere (2024), this film was launched on YouTube to continue the vital mission of protecting public health.
What is “Unmasked” About?
The movie “Unmasked” focuses on the serious dangers of quackery—a problem where unqualified people pretend to be nurses. The film shows the scary reality of what happens when people trust their lives to “fake nurses” who do not have the proper training or licenses.
Highlighting the distinction between professional nursing care and quackery, the movie educates the public on the importance of only patronizing registered and recognized healthcare professionals.
